Life news! September was busy, but I can hardly tell you why. It's a blur. I blinked and it was October.
I did get to see Natalie Merchant in concert! She was fabulous. It was my first time seeing her. I've now seen the Indigo Girls, Sarah McLachlan, and Natalie Merchant in concert, so I've completed some sort of post-Lilith Fair trinity, I think.
I also went to two Portland Thorn games this month. I've definitely become a soccer fan since moving to Oregon. And when I say "soccer," I mean women's soccer because, like, do men even play that sport? I kid, I kid. But it's been a great way to spend the evening with friends! Also, women's sports, as a whole, are great inclusive spaces, so it's just nice to be in that sort of company, too, singing songs and cheering.
